It seems like it was a MUCH better product under Mac OS 9. I really am not pleased with Suitcase 10.2. I'd rtfm, but the pdf crashes Acrobat Reader-I suspect it tries to load some font it won't let me add. Now Suitcase won't even let me add fonts-it'll show them to me in the dialog, but most of them are grayed out, except for a couple (NISC18030.ttf?). Spent most of the day hunting for Illustrator and Suitcase hidden files and whacking them, including all Suitcase file in each Application Support and Preferences directory and every AdobeFnt.lst file on the system. Uninstalled Suitcase and tried to put the fonts back in /Library/Fonts. Turned off Suitcase, but nothing changed in Illustrator. Tried forcing Suitcase to activate the grayed fonts, to no avail.
Today I attempted to add a font to Extensis Suitcase and it quit working-suddenly 3/4 of my fonts in Illustrator are grayed out. Okay, I'm hoping someone here can help me resolve my font nightmare.
